About AMOM

Our purpose is to promote awareness of multiple births to participate in research, to exchange ideas and information with parents & guardians of multiples throughout Abilene and the Big Country and to encourage and provide support to our member families.

What AMOM has to offer:

· Monthly meetings where you can ask questions, share stories, and enjoy being with other moms of multiples. Some meetings also feature guest speakers on topics of interest to our mothers of multiples, or sometimes just things that ANY mom needs to know! Get to know other moms who can help encourage and advise you on any number of things, from “how do I nurse twins at the same time?” to “how do you grocery shop with two babies in tow?” to “should I keep them in the same class at school?”

· Great “club sales” each year—buy and/or sell baby and children’s  clothing, equipment, furniture, toys & more. It’s a perfect way to pick up those cute matching outfits without spending a bundle, and to pass on outgrown outfits to new sets of twins!

· Fun family activities throughout the year; “MOM’s Night Out” events, participation in the Texas Mothers of Multiples Convention, and much more.
